After 42 straight quarters, an Alabama offensive lineman has finally been penalized for holding. It happened in the Penn State game last week, and the guilty party was sophomore guard Chance Warmack. Alabama offensive line coach Joe Pendry let him have it pretty good. To go 42 quarters at this level without being called for holding in the offensive line is a testament to how well coached the Crimson Tide are up front.
Alabama has one of the best running games in the nation, not just because they have great backs but because they have an exceptional line that is extremely well coached.
