Michael Dyer was one of the hottest running backs recruited out of high school.  Cameron Newton was the hottest junior college transfer who definitely has size and talent.  This weekend, Auburn fans will have the opportunity to watch both of these weapons take the field against Arkansas State.

Coach Gene Chizik has been careful to be too excited publicly, but has been reserved in his praise towards his pair of offensive threats.

With ESPN’s Herbstreit picking Auburn to win the west, the hype is building in that “other school” in the state of Alabama.  The competition to win the west between the pair of Alabama schools might be one of the best things to watch this season.
