The Gators ended a piss-poor season by getting blown out by their hated in-state rival. As I’ve been saying all year, the losses are understandable. The way the Gators have lost multiple times this year? Inexcusable.

The most outrageous reality for the Florida program right now is that the Gators accomplished absolutely nothing in 2010 – except pissing off some Georgia fans. The Gators end the season with as much confusion, mistakes, and question marks as they began the season with a miserable performance against Miami (OH).
The post-Tim Tebow era rebuilding essentially got delayed a year, since nothing got rebuilt this year.
What Florida fans witnessed this year was nothing short of mass confusion at the hands of the coaching staff. It would have been better to stick with John Brantley the entire year, or Trey Burton, or Jordan Reed. It doesn’t matter which one. Because, instead, you simply got nowhere with any of them.
All I know is Jeff Driskell better be really good. And he better be ready to start next year as a true freshman.
Gator fans have suffered through seriously miserable games this year including three games where the offensive put up 7 points or less (Alabama, Miss St, FSU). The Gators finished the 2010 season 7-5 and 4-4 in the SEC.
But hey it could be worse. You could be Texas who finished 5-7 and will not be participating in a bowl game – might I also remind you that Texas played in the national championship game this past January.

don’t think meyers had his heart into it this year
Agreed. After his medical emergency he didn’t seem as up to the job as in the past. With what was, basically, a year off he should show improvement. I certainly hope his physical health has improved.
