Being true to form, I must continue to be the devil’s advocate on this forum. Therefore I must point out that LSU's performance on offense in the first-half was terrible, and I'll explain. They could only manage 3 field goals from great field position and was able to get a TD because they started at the 12 yard line. The only other first-half TD was from the defense. The second-half wasn't as bad with help from good field position again and a big play to set up the short TD run. And obviously the defense scoring another TD was big. Without question the defense if a force to be reckoned with, but that offense needs to step up. This should have been a game for the LSU offense to get fired up and get an identity.

The next two teams that LSU will face have given up a lot of points, but have also scored a lot of points. If either of those teams can score on the mighty LSU defense, LSU may be in jeopardy. Maybe you, your buddies, and Les are all content with a mediocre offense, but they have way to much talent to be that ineffective (coaching?). The talent shows when those big plays break, and that’s the only way LSU scores on offense. Very inconsistent and “pedestrian” as you would appropriately call it.

Good luck against Ole Miss and nice shout out to the “volunteers” at the games. They mostly work for free and put up with a lot of nonsense. Don’t forget those tickets!
