Here are some items that I am looking forward to seeing this afternoon and Monday.

– Florida’s new offense: Florida is looking switch to a more traditional offense under John Brantley.

– Georgia’s Defense: How will Georgia’s new 3-4 defense look?

– LSU QB: Who will get the majority of the snaps for LSU?

– Masoli: Masoli was cleared to play, but will not start.  How much time will her get and will he be as electric as he was at Oregon?

– Cam Newton debut: Newton was ahead of Brantley at UF, and he is a perfect fit for the spread offense.

– Bama’s Defense: Alabama is replacing most of their starters on defense and will be without Marcel Dareus for the first two weeks.

– Tennessee: Post-Kiffin era begins, how will Derek Dooley’s squad look?

– Joker’s debut: Joker Phillips will make his head coaching debut today for Kentucky.  UK has plenty of offensive playmakers, how will he utilize them?

– Year 2 under Mullen: What kind of progress will the Mississippi St offense make in Mullen’s second year?

– Vanderbilt: Chris Marve is one of the most underrated players in the SEC, can he carry the Vandy defense?

– Arkansas offense:  Ryan Mallett begins his Heisman quest today.  The Razorback offense is loaded with the SEC most talented receiving core.
