The Tennessee Volunteers currently have 14 commitments here in September. Saturday Down South takes a look at the most talented commits for the Vols right now:

Pat Martin
Safety Pat Martin
Pat Martin is a 5’11”, 195lb safety, and he is the most talented recruit right now for the Vols. Martin hails from Greenville, South Carolina. He is built like a linebacker and can run like a corner. Martin loves to make big hits from his safety position. Give this kid a couple years and he will turn into a good player at the next level.

Justin Worley is a 6’4” 195lb quarterback from Rock Hill, South Carolina. You might have seen this kid play against the number 1 prospect in America in Jadeveon Clowney. Tennessee fans cannot wait to see this kid on Orange. If you remember, the kid threw for 5 touchdowns and plays some of the best competition in South Carolina.

Another talented kid that is committed to Tennessee is center Mack Crowder. Crowder is 6’4”, 270lbs from Bristol, Tennessee. Crowder is a good pass blocker, and he gets out of his stance quickly and has pretty good feet for a big man. Tennessee could use Crowder’s services this year as their center depth is slim.

Tennessee will sign more prospects than what is committed right now. Coach Derek Dooley closed strong last year with wide receivers Justin Hunter and Da’Rick Rogers. Saturday Down South will update Tennessee’s commitments throughout the year for class of 2011.
