  • Somebody count them…

How many times is “Roll Tide” said in this commercial?

  • I would say “not enough”. The only ones I’ve not done were the funeral, the wedding, and the making out, but only because she wasn’t a Bama fan.

  • Roll Tide!! I think its said 16 times and implied on the van doors once :-)

  • I counted 21 counting the Roll Tide on the van but at the funeral they all said Roll Tide back and you can’t count all of those so………..IMPOSSIBLE………

  • All I have to say is ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can i get a ROLL TIDE?

  • Roll Tide Forever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Roll Tide! Already practicing for the Capital One Bowl!

  • 20 spoken ROLL TIDE
1″A” logo on car window 1 crimson car

  • ESPN got it totally wrong…….they made bammers look half way affluent…not one trailer or mullet in the entire commercial.

    • Huntsville, That’s some pretty tough stereo-typing for an ‘accountant’ to make.

    • I’m from Huntsville, don’t ever see any “bammers” with mullets… maybe you should consider finding a better neighborhood

    • Maybe “the accountant” should help Cam and his family handle all the money they took instead of downing Bama people…….and perhaps he should ride on down to Tuscalossa and just see how much CLASS Bama really has……or Cam could steal him a laptop and he could go to the Tuscalossa website and look at it! Roll Tide Roll and we Roll with Class Baby!

  • Just like my everyday life. It’s like a not so secret handshake. You see a fellow Tider and your greeting is always ROLL TIDE. Sometimes with an exclamation and sometimes just a friendly hello.

  • ROLL TIDE!! (except when they are playin the Vols!)

  • In Alabama, ESPECIALLY in Tuscaloosa, you hear Roll Tide just as much in a day as you hear hello and good-bye.
When I was married last summer, my husband and I were pronounced husband and wife, and before we started walking down the aisle, we both said “Roll Tide!” and the whole church echoe’d ROLL TIDE. It was awesome. And I’ve lost track of how many times it was said in the speeches.

Also, I’ve heard it at several funerals, my brothers included. I had a professor at the University of Alabama in my freshman year, who at the end of every class would say, “Roll Tide Ya’ll”

I personally say it maybe 5, 6 times a day.

  • The best it ever sounded was in Jan of this year. At that time, my son was a month shy of his 4th b-day.
He was in the hospital, to have his tonsils removed. While his doctor knows I am a Bama fan (as he is as well), one of his nurses saw the Elephant blanket my son was wrapped in. As he was coming in and out, waking up from the anesthesia, she asked him if he liked elephants… He only told her “Roll Tide.”
Those words have never been sweeter to hear : )

  • One night in the off-season, a couple of friends and I were out drinking at a party and got pretty drunk. As we were leaving, we picked up 2 girls from the party and told them we’d drop them off on our way home. My friend driving (drunk) pulls out of the party and immediately runs a stop sign and is going around 45 mph in a 25 mph zone. Right behind us was a city cop. My friend, realizing we were about to get pulled over, mentions his license is expired, and he his tag expired 3 days before. While going around a sharp curve in the road, we switched seats and buckled in like nothing had happened. Needless to say, he pulled us over. So I suggested that all 5 of us just start talking about Alabama football to make it seem like we weren’t nervous. As the officer walks us to the window, I pretend not to notice him for around 3 or 4 seconds as I was talking about Julio Jones. He then explains why we were pulled over, and asks why were in such a hurry. I smiled and said, “Just trying to get these girls home officer, they have to be up early.” He then takes my license, and my friend next to me. 2 or 3 minutes later, he walks back up, and we continue to talk about the might Crimson Tide. He then says, “Your license is suspended, and your tag is expired. Get these girls home safely, ROLL TIDE.” Had he not been a true Bama fan, we would’ve all gone to jail that night. Roll Tide and thanks to the cop who loves Alabama as much as I do!!!
