Boise State lost. To Nevada. Consider the 2010 Boise State National Championship run over. You can officially stop talking about Boise.
I imagine that Boise is not just out of the title game but out of the BCS bowls completely. I’ll do some further research on this. This means that a second Big Ten team probably gets in to the BCS bowls (i.e. Ohio State).
There’s a good chance we don’t mention the two words Boise State on this site until next season’s opener against Georgia.

The BCS bowls are only bound to accept one non-qualifier, regardless of how many are in the final BCS poll rankings. I would assume that team would now be TCU, since they’ll almost certainly finish the season undefeated. If TCU is in with a perfect record, that means Boise State will most likely be out.
There was some speculation I heard about Boise playing against the 9th ranked ACC team in a bowl – Ouch!
