Interesting thoughts on possible coaching moves including Les Miles to Michigan (yes we know we’ve heard that before). From Husker Extra:
And why might the LSU position be open? Take a look at the tenuous situation at Michigan. Many who follow the Wolverines’ program expect the ax will fall on Rich Rodriguez after his team’s New Year’s Day Gator Bowl meeting against Mississippi State. Those people think the only reason Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon is waiting until then is because the school would owe Rodriguez $1.5 million less to terminate his contract.
If Rodriguez is out, LSU’s Les Miles — who played and coached at Michigan, and was involved in talks with the school before it hired Rodriguez in 2007 — will be all over the radar.
Pelini would then be on the same radar screen at LSU, and if he were to leave NU, what would happen to brother Carl?

I love having Bo back. Though Les did do an outstanding job with what he had to work with on the offensive side of the ball. I don’t think he leaves because LSU has better recruits and is a “warm weather state.” Would you rather play football in 20 below conditions or a perfect fall day that may be no cooler than 40′s. Either way I think its a win-win for LSU.
I think if Les was going to go, he would have went in 2007. Carr’s guys would have fit his system. If he goes there now, RichRod’s guys would not fit his system.
Think a lot of it will depend on how LSU does in Cotton Bowl….will the Mad Hatter pull off another crazy (some would say “lucky”) win? Of course…LUCK counts, too!
Miles did an outstanding job with what he had to work with on offense?! SERIOUSLY? You selling any of that or are you gonna smoke it all?
