  1. Hardest in the west is LSU because they are playing all teams in the west and playing the best and third in the east. (Georgia won the east but South Carolina was the better team playing east teams) Easiest in the west is probably Mississippi State playing Kentucky and Tennessee. The east’s easiest schedule is by far Georgia because they get a team that has lost 14 straight, probably will be 18 by then, in Ole Miss and Auburn. South Carolina has the hardest schedule in the east because we have to play LSU and Arkansas… Conference as a whole I would say South Carolina is harder than LSU because of the way it is scheduled, LSU gets a easy game between their harder games while South Carolina has Georgia, LSU, Florida, Tennessee, and Arkansas all in a row except for the bye before Arkansas.

  2. It all depends on how good MSU, T-A&M, Auburn, and Mizzou are imo. those are teams that could be complete flops or really compete with some of the top teams. I’m already excited!

  3. Notice you said UGA had the easiest schedule…. If you happen to look before speaking, you would notice UGA and Vanderbilt have the same schedule. USCe does not have the hardest schedule. Texas A&M plays Bama, LSU, Ark, and Mizz. Ark will not be as good as they were this year. And Florida plays LSU and Texas A&M. That is pretty much the same as USCe.

    • You are correct. Both of ya’ll have pansy schedules. The SEC West rules College Football!!

      • Georgia has the weakiest like they did last year. I guess the sec don’t want to see their coach get fired. SOUTH CAROLINA has the hardest, but that is okay we don’t want any excusses when we kick ass!!

    • You have the same schedule except Georgia plays Vandy and Vandy plays Georgia. Since Georgia is the better team they still have a easier schedule than Vandy.

    • Arkansas will be as good or better next year. Hate to disappoint you. Also Georgia does have the easiest schedule for 2 years straight now. I would be happy to play Georgia rather than South Carolina. SC was definitely the best team in the East and they proved it at the end of the year.

  4. Poor ole s.c. I don’t care who you play or when in the SEC any team can win any game. UGA will win the most games and win the SEC east and play Alabama so cry on s.c.

  5. And Georgia will come to Columbia to lose their third straight to us. Marcus lattimore OWNS grantham. Grantham prays to Marcus lattimore each night before he goes to bed!

    • Hmmm…I seem to remember us beating ourselves this year…Lattimore always gets his yards but thats because he is…or was a stud. Question is can he bounce back from the ACL injury…for most it takes 2 years (if ever) and lets face it your whole season depends on it.

      • You mean like this year depended on it?

        • Yes, your year did depend on it, as you did not play in the SEC championship game despite beating everyone else in the east. If he had not been injured, y’all may have made it back.

  6. Oh lawd you just gotta love College Football in the South dont ya? Do you think anyone else in the country is already as revved up about NEXT season as we are? All the Cock fans with all their new-found confidence are already clucking…then you got those bullies from the west who are soaking up there recent glory and holding onto it for dear life. Meanwhile Bulldawg Nation is just chomping at the bit to get back out there again for another run at the SEC Title. All of this and we still have bowl games to play…gotta love Saturdays in the South!

  7. Also…has anyone heard what the rotation of cross conference games will be like from now on? Will Auburn still be on the UGA schedule every year?

    • No one knows for sure until next spring sometime, maybe later.

      • there really are only two games that should be kept up, and those are auburn/georgia, and alabama/tennessee. if they adjust the divisions and auburn goes to the east, that could be tricky since alabama HAS to keep auburn on their schedule, but they should also play tennessee. one of those games would be dropped and i dont see it being the iron bowl. but there could easily be a realignment scenario where both alabama and auburn come east and vandy and missouri go west. i dont see anything wrong with that, but you might lose bama/lsu, and auburn/msu

  8. Sept. 8: at Missouri
    Sept. 22: VANDERBILT
    Sept. 29: TENNESSEE
    Oct. 6: at South Carolina
    Oct. 20: at Kentucky
    Oct. 27: vs. Florida (Jacksonville)
    Nov. 3: OLE MISS
    Nov. 10: at Auburn

Really thats Georgia’s SEC schedule?? How did they manage to get this approved a second year in a row

No Arkansas No LSU No Bama Yep this is another trip to Atlanta for the Dawgs in the East unless The Dawgs Melt down this is a no brainer to put the dawgs back in atlanta.

  9. I’m a huge Dawg fan, but even I have to admit that this is a very gentle Schedule, for the SEC. Instead of focusing all of this negative energy on that…lets talk about how even the easiest schedule in the SEC is harder than most of the toughest schedules in every other conference. GA Dawgs ain’t nothing to mess wit’!

  10. May i remind you South Carolina fans that you guys lost to one of the easiest teams in the sec. Auburn, but Georgia kicked their tail.

  11. Ole Miss opener is at Alabama… Lord Jesus save us. Hugh Freeze talks about winning the day. Looks like we’ll be winning everyday except on Saturday. POSITIVE ENERGY…. NEED POSITIVE ENERGY.
