"Thomas Brown your skewing the facts again .. “Of course, we could still lose to a UNRANKED CUPCAKE like we have done 10 times in 10 previous seasons of Mark Richt. Nice Offense we’ve got.” Most of those losses to bad teams came last year. Not very easy to find cupcake losses under CMR in the first 8 years of his coaching record now is it."

CUPCAKE LOSSES Mark Richt all end 5 losses + & unranked :

10/02/2010 @ Colorado (5-7) L
12/31/2010 vs. Central Florida (11-3) L
09/11/2010 @ *South Carolina (9-5) L
10/30/2010 vs. *Florida (8-5) L
10/03/2009 vs. *Louisiana State (9-4) L
10/10/2009 @ *Tennessee (7-6) L
11/21/2009 vs. *Kentucky (7-6) L
09/05/2009 @ Oklahoma State (9-4) L
11/29/2008 vs. Georgia Tech (9-4) L
09/08/2007 vs. *South Carolina (6-6) L
10/06/2007 @ *Tennessee (10-4) L
10/07/2006 vs. *Tennessee (9-4) L
10/14/2006 vs. *Vanderbilt (4-8) L
11/04/2006 @ *Kentucky (8-5) L
11/01/2003 vs. *Florida (8-5) L
11/02/2002 vs. *Florida (8-5) L
12/28/2001 vs. Boston College (8-4) L
11/10/2001 vs. *Auburn (7-5) L

18 teams who end season with 5 or more losses, and none of whom would end in the Top 25 without their WINS over Mark Richt that season.

LIAR they all came just only last year, 1 bad year. Right. CUPCAKE # 5 in a row this week Vandie. Then, off week. Then, CUPCAKE Florida - an unranked team. Then, CUPCAKE New Mexico State. Then, CUPCAKE Auburn who is unranked in AP Poll now. Then, CUPCAKE Kentucky. Then, CUPCAKE Georgia tek who has beat NO ONE. Then, our bowl game vs a CUPCAKE which is all Mark Richt has ever played for any bowl game, as per usual. And, if we back into SEC East, face Alabama or LSU whom both would just CLOCK us, as you say here in the subject of this blog. I predicted an 11-3 season, and I appear right on target exactly. Most see the South Carolina loss, as I do, a game which we NEVER should have lost. NEVER.

I don't know about Miles or Spurrier, but you must not watch Bama games. If you do watch them, you have no idea who plays on the first string and who doesnt. Most of the first string players don't play the entire 4th quarter if we have a good lead on a team. You can look at the game last night against Vandy. You can look at really any other game this season. Saban gives our younger players an opportunity to play if it will benefit the team. Don't make general assumptions of teams who win just because they win.

I agree that our fourth quarter play needs to improve and that we need to "put teams away," but do I want a Saban or Miles or Spurrier who keeps the first string in and beats teams by 60 points just because they can? No! I want a team with more class than that, and like him or not (I do), Richt gives us class and integrity. We're winning and there's been a world of improvement in the past 4 weeks.... keep it up and hope for a little help and we can still win the East. Most people ("fans" and I use the term loosely) were ready to lynch the coaches and players after only 2 weeks of the season, but I'd say that this team has shown resilience and strength. I am very encouraged for this year and the future.
