What Is Up With Dee Hart’s Recruitment?

When you look at Dee Hart’s recruitment, it is a crazy one. The running back from Orlando first commits to Michigan while Rich Rodriguez is the coach. Hart then de-committed with all the turmoil before Rich Rod was fired, and then he committed to Alabama to be with his high school teammate Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix.

Dee Hart now says he is not committed to anyone. He does not know if he will commit Saturday at the Army All-American game or not (he was scheduled to do so). He says he and Clinton-Dix will “go to a school that’s close”. Close? Does that mean Florida close?

Here is what his wavering says to me clearly. Again this is my opinion, but with things playing out like they are it makes sense. It seems to me that Hart has tried to commit to Alabama a couple times. I have been told by a source they have or will accept his commitment based on one thing: he plays corner at the next level. In my opinion, this is why he is wavering. He wants to play running back at the next level, and Alabama simply won’t accept his commitment as a running back at this time. I’m not sure why. Maybe they are waiting on Isaiah Crowell or have another big back in mind that they do not want to scare off with Hart’s commitment.

So, the story will keep going, but it will eventually play out on National Signing Day and we will know for sure where Dee Hart will attend school. Right now, it’s all speculation.

Hart says he is down to Florida, Alabama, LSU and Miami.
