While there is nothing concrete to go on (that’s why the headline says “Rumor”), there is a lot of smoke out there about Georgia signee John Jenkins not making it into school. For the sake of the Bulldogs’ new 3-4 defense, I hope those rumors are wrong.
Jenkins, a 6-4, 340-pounder, is the perfect guy to fill the void in the middle of UGA’s defensive line (think Terrance Cody from a few years ago), so it’s a huge blow to the Bulldogs if he isn’t eligible.
Again, these are just unsubstantiated rumors at this point, but you have to wonder if the dreaded “extra math class” required to go from JUCO to the SEC has forced its biggest casualty to date.
