LET THE GAMES BEGIN

There are reports going around the internet about LSU fans running into classrooms on West Virginia’s campus and putting their hands in the air like tiger paws while screaming “TIGER BAIT!!!”

Add it to the list of “Things I should have done while I was in college” or if you’re a 40-something old LSU fan, add it to your list of “Things to do next weekend.”

This is SEC Football.

Let the games begin.

And when this game does begin, it is also interesting to note that West Virginia is one of the few college football stadiums that allow beer to be sold in the concessions. If LSU fans are ‘tigerbaiting’ classrooms on a Friday afternoon, who knows what they’ll be doing tomorrow. Les Miles spoke about the beer sales at West Virginia:

“First of all, I suspect that no matter what the size of the crowd, there will be a little bit more enthusiasm for play at West Virginia,” Miles said. “If they serve beer in Tiger Stadium, I fear that the upper decks might not hold it.”

“I certainly want to be politically correct and not be against serving beer in Tiger Stadium. Certainly the athletic director and the chancellor would have to make that decision. But I promise you, we would enjoy playing in front of a Tiger Stadium that occasionally had a beer.”

  1. This might be the best matchup ever… there’s going to be burning couches and crazy Louisiana people running all over Morgantown for the next 48 hours. So awesome.

Somebody please find and upload a youtube video of this!

  3. LSU fans are just the worst. But that’s pretty funny.

  4. With these two fan bases there will probably be more action in the stands then on the field.

Do they have crawdads in West Virginia?

  6. My God…

like a moth to the flame…. If both of these teams were unranked I would still tune in to watch the fans.

I remember an LSU fan wearing fetal pigs around his neck (think formaldehyde pig necklace) at an Arkansas game in the late 90s. And that was back in the DiNardo days.
