College football is the most entertaining sport in America. On the first Saturday Down South, September 3rd, Nike will capitalize on this entertainment with a fashion show of new uniforms. In the two premier games on opening weekend, the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game and the Cowboys Classic, three of the four teams will be decked out in Nike’s Pro Combat gear. LSU Tigers, the fourth team, has their own Nike Pro Combat Uniform that will be unveiled later in the season. They will wear it against Auburn, the defending National Champions, who happen to be sponsored by Under Armour. You have to hand it to Nike, because they know how to advertise with the best of all American corporations.
So let the parade begin…

These videos are ridiculous. I don’t think there is any company that knows how to advertise better than Nike!
Gotta say I like Oregon’s the best
Serioulsy, these are some of the ugliest football uniforms I’ve ever seen. Uniforms should be about displaying school colors, the school logo and team pride in a functional manner that makes it easy to spot your team from the stands and represent the institution. Nike seems more interested in deranged outfits that seem more fitting for some kind of ridiculous runway show than a football game.
I agree Mark!!! Nike, too much of one color, use them all. The white (1st color) uniforms look well, they have a blend of all the colors in the (2nd & 3rd, maybe 4th colors) trim. The wide helment stripes look like an airport runway without lights, NO Nike, not an idea to consider!!! [Don't like the Ravens or Titans helment stripes either - maybe they're not Nike, just saying.] Small multi-colored multiple stripes are very strong (Auburn) or a single stripe (Alabama or Tennessee). The shoes are good. The best item is the gloves, but it doesn’t make a uniform, and they’re nearly impossible to see with the naked eye from the stands. The name “Combat Uniform” is just “hype.” Leave the combat to our military, God bless them! When a player walks on the field he wants to look great, leading to feeling great, and ultimately performing great. He identifies with the school he plays for and the thousands of supporters through the school colors, not a single color. The Combat Crap is ugly. Nike needs to go back to the drawing board for a traditional flair that supports the schools, not Nike. I mean, who’s playing or cheering for Nike, right?
Oregons matte black is badass…but we got the best promo vid hands dwn…the Dawg barking at the end is the coup de grace. Sic em!
From the front, you can’t even see what team Georgia even is.
Since when did football become a spin-off of project runway? Who cares about uniforms anyway, they all look the same covered with dirt and grass stains. Besides they all look like might morphin power rangers to me.
I hate this fashion show BS. Even Under Armour has gotten tied up in it. I hate Auburns updated unis. Ridiculous. When did the focus shift to whos uniform looks more outrageous? What happened to tradition? What is happening to college football?
HAHA Oregon, just goes to show you it doesnt matter how pretty your uniforms are. Just like the National Championship game, you show up pretty but leave bloody when you play the SEC!
