The Outland Trophy goes annually to the nations’ best interior lineman – offensive or defensive. There are 65 total on the 2011 watch list. Last year’s winner was Gabe Carimi from Wisconsin.
Here are the 11 from the SEC on the 2011 watch list:

DT Jaye Howard, Florida
DT Malik Jackson, Tennessee
C TJ Johnson, South Carolina
OL Barrett Jones, Alabama
C Ben Jones, Georgia
OT Xavier Nixon, Florida
OT Bradley Sowell, Ole Miss
C William Vlachos, Alabama
OG Larry Warford, Kentucky
OT Rokevious Watkins, South Carolina
There are three names I would have included on this list: Sharrif Floyd (Florida), John Jenkins (Georgia) and Maurice Couch (Tennessee). All three are on the defensive side of the football, and all three will be vital to their teams’ success.
