Rumors are spreading around twitter and message boards regarding these photos. Are they of the new Nike Pro Combat Uniforms that LSU will wear next month against Auburn? A lot of people are saying that they are. If so, what do you think about them? Do they look that different than the traditional LSU uniforms? At least LSU won’t look like the Power Rangers (Georgia, Boise, Oregon) that played this past weekend…
I wish LSU would drop Nike as its maker of jerseys. Phil Knight’s crew loves screwing up traditional uniforms. There’s NOTHING wrong w/ LSU’s current uni. Hey, Nike, give those little kids in the 3rd World a break & stop making them manufacture your latest monstrosity in team apparel.
Would have been better if it had a massive tiger eye on the side of the helmet like Boise. They don’t look much different.
The uniforms are not bad (compared to Maryland, UGA, or Oregon) but those shoes look they belong on The Tin Man’s brother (The Gold Man). That said…. I Think the current LSU uniforms are better.
Anyone saying anything negative about Coach Miles is an IDIOT!!! Coach Miles is the best coach in the country, bar none!!!! Anyone saying anything bad either about Coach Miles, and or, the Fightin’ Tigers is just jealous!!!! *LOL* Geaux Coach Miles!!!! Geaux Tigers!!!!!!!!! ;-)
personally not a tigers fan but it is hard to disagree with you there its hard to argue with someone about their coach when hes taken yall to 2 or 3 national championships
i’m a traditionalist when it comes the uniforms of our teams. If I was the U of GA , I would burn those ugly beer can looking uniforms in a ceremony at mid field………. Especially after that game against Boise
Oregon has always been out there in the land of fruits and nuts so who cares…………………and Maryland….WTF
I have played against LSU and there is nothing more intimidating than that stadium at night, smelling brown liquor and the roar of Mike. Don’t change a thing!
Did they learn nothing from Georgia? This will not translate well on the field.
I say the SEC ban Nike uni’s all together and go with Under-Armour… I mean Nike belongs in the PAC-12. (Aka. co-founder of Nike huge OU booster). Let the Pac take their wack &*#$ back.
I don’t like it… leave our traditional SEC uniforms alone. Maybe bring back the 1980s powder blue Ole Miss uniforms…. so ugly they’re nice.
The shock/cool factor is lost on me. Maybe that is why I like the uniforms of the Alabamas and Penn States of the world.
