SEC Offensive Player of the Year: Knile Davis
SEC Defensive Player of the Year: Dont’a Hightower
SEC Coach of the Year: Steve Spurrier

no Spencer Ware of LSU? i thought his performance in the cotton bowl would have people keeping an eye on him for this season.
No doubt Spencer Ware will be a great player. One game proves nothing in this league. However, I do expect Ware to be a main catalyst for the Tigers’ offense this season. With that being said, he is not Trent Richardson, Knile Davis or Marcus Lattimore.
Ware will be a great player, though.
im
a huge tiger fan but i dont see ware being the best rb Miles likes to use to many backs for him to out do davis an lattimore my question is whats up with the def choices only one tiger “COME ON MAN”
Spurrier, coach of the year??? get outa heeere
NEVER COUNT OUT THE OLE BALL COACH BUT I SEE LES “THE GRASS EATTING” MILES GETTING IT AFTER WE BEAT THE DUCKS AN BAMA AN EVERYONE ELSE GEAUX TIGERS
Justin Hunter? Da’Rick Rogers? I feel like there will be at least ONE vol somewhere in the first team at the end of the season. I mean, we aren’t gonna be so bad that we don’t have any players up there for consideration at least.
Hunter and Rogers will be great players, no doubt. But neither Hunter or Rogers are as good as Jeffery or Childs. They are good and will be great in the next couple years, but right now, they do not deserve to be on this list. Of course this is just my opinion!
Danny Trevathan!
Come on now you know that Trent Richardson will be the 1st string all sec running back over lattimore anyday
Neither Mark Ingram or Trent Richardson were better than Lattimore last year as a freshman…just saying. I do think Trent will have a monster year.
I don’t intend to criticize. in fact, given the known proven talent, I could not have done any better. But, also knowing the vast young (yet to be proven talent) in this league I guarantee a few of your choices will be proven wrong by season’s end. Showing no specific team prejudice, here are just a few sure things: O-line (including tight end), all purpose return men, defensive end, and all the secondary. And now to be a little critic specifically: Knile Davis will not be offensive player of the year and Spurrier will not be coach of the year.
Love the comments, and I never take this stuff personally. Paul – you need a gravatar here – http://en.gravatar.com/. Thanks for comments.
with the way LSU’s secondary played not including peterson how can only Morris Claiborne be all SEC an the only tiger period on this list
