Alabama: Offensive coordinator Jim McElwain has reportedly accepted the Colorado State job. He will coach the National Championship game at this time. Defensive coordinator Kirby Smart is also on many lists and rumors for open head coaching positions. However, neither Ole Miss nor Texas A&M went Smart’s way. He could be returning.
Arkansas: Bobby Petrino has lost all of his offensive, defensive and special teams coordinators up to this point. Offensive coordinator Garrick McGee has taken the UAB job as a head coach. Defensive coordinator Willy Robinson has resigned, and Paul Haynes, former Ohio State co-defensive coordinator will take over. Special teams coordinator John L. Smith left to take the Weber State head coaching reigns.
Auburn: Defensive coordinator Ted Roof left Auburn to accept the same position at UCF. Florida State defensive coordinator Mark Stoops has been rumored with the Auburn job, and some have said it’s all but a done deal. That would be a big-time hire for Chizik. Obviously, Gus Malzahn’s name has been flying around, but he missed on the North Carolina job most recently.
LSU: Reportedly, Urban Meyer made a move for offensive coordinator Greg Studrawa but missed. Wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales could be a candidate for Meyer’s staff at some point. Les Miles is keeping this staff together, as it is one of the best in college football.
Mississippi State: Dan Mullen’s name is still surfacing for the Penn State job, and he has even said to be the leader. However, he refutes those reports and is telling recruits he is going nowhere. We’ll wait and see how this winds up.
Ole Miss: Ole Miss hired new head coach Hugh Freeze. Freeze is bringing with him Dave Wommack (defensive coordinator), Maurice Harris (tight ends), Tom Allen (LB coach) and Chris Kiffin (DL coach) from Arkansas State.

Is Chris Kiffin related to Lane?
I doubt it. Those Kiffin’s tend to ride on their family’s coattails.
If the guy below is right, it’s shocking the SEC would let another Kiffin near the conference.
Arkansas – Paul Petrino has returned as the Off Coord. Steve Caldwell (DE coach) will pull double duty as Special Teams Coord.
Yes Chris Kiffin is the son of Monte and brother of Lane
