Steve Kragthorpe Steps Down At LSU

Newly hired offensive coordinator Steve Kragthorpe has stepped down at LSU because of a recent diagnosis of Parkinsons’ Disease. The school made the announcement via Twitter.

Kragthorpe was hired in January to lead the offense, and we wish Steve and his family all the best.

Greg Studrawa takes over the reigns of the offense, and he will have his hands full at LSU. This could seemingly hurt any progress that was made in the off-season for both the offense and for quarterback Jordan Jefferson because one of the reasons Kragthorpe was hired in the first place was to elevate the play of Jordan Jefferson.

Edit: Kragthorpe will stay on as the quarterbacks coach at LSU.
