Todd McShay of ESPN currently has 10 SEC players going in the first round and seven of them are underclassmen. It is up for argument whether or not he is an ‘expert’, though.
Here is the lineup and projections as of right now:
No. 3 Morris Claiborne, LSU – Minnesota Vikings
No. 4 Trent Richardson, Alabama – Cleveland Browns
No. 6 Dre Kirkpatrick, Alabama – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
No. 13 Courtney Upshaw, Alabama – Arizona Cardinals
No. 15 Mark Barron, Alabama – San Diego Chargers
No. 20 Fletcher Cox, Mississippi State – Dallas Cowboys
No. 22 Alshon Jeffery, South Carolina – New York Jets
No. 28 Jarvis Jones, Georgia – Pittsburgh Steelers
No. 29 Melvin Ingram, South Carolina – New England Patriots
No. 31 Johnathan Banks, Mississippi State – New England Patriots
Four of the 10 are Alabama players, and seven of the 10 hail from the SEC West.
Jarvis Jones also said he would be returning to school, but a first round projection comes with a nice little price tag; so, I’m sure we haven’t heard the end of this one.

Jarvis Jones didn’t even submit paperwork. He’s not leaving. I love how bloggers don’t take players at their word anymore.
Because players have been found to be so honest and forthcoming over the years…
Yea jarvis jones is staying. Orson charles may leave but with aaron murray staying he prob wont go no where
What happened to Dont’a Hightower’s draft stock?….why no longer a first rounder?
He should go very high. Upshaw is a beast.
I bet Barrett Jones goes high also.
He’ll be a still in the draft. A solid first rounder who’ll be taken in the second for half the money. Upshaw has more raw talent and is an impact guy while Hightower plays smart and is consistent and will be a Defensive captain by his 3rd year.

Please don’t let TR get drafted by the Browns!
He’ll be the MVP of the 2013 Superbowl!
TR will be successful anywhere he goes… Alabama has some serious nfl recruits this year…
