Hundreds of people come on here to call a man classless by saying he sucks, his team sucks, and The Hogs are just lucky. Yyyyyeeeeaaa, he is the only classless 1. Well to all offended F u MFers, I personally like a coach that is dedicated and emotionally charged enough that he shows it. Tells me he’s there to win and that losing kills him. We lose against the 2 best teams in the Nation, I get it we’re not there yet. We have no BCS Championships, all great points that Arkansas isn’t there, but 2 10 win seasons isn’t sucking. There or not we are taking crumbs of talent, not top 5 recruiting classes and competing with the best. Hate the Hogs, curse um, or ignore em but either way we’re here to stay, getting better every year. Bless u BMFP, glad you brought your classless ass to Arkansas.

Mark Richt at Georgia has been coaching in the SEC for 11 years. His winning % is 738.

Is he a great coach? I would say yes according to your theory. The names you listed only Saban and Spurrier have coached their careers in the SEC.

Alabama lost to South Carolina? So what? My point is THE ONLY SEC TEAM to lose to OSU was Petrino coached. He hasn’t won anything (championship, BCS Bowl) of any circumstance.

I agree it may be harder to coach at Arkansas than ALA. But calling Petrino a great coac based on what? Winning percentage from Conference USA or whatever is thin.

If you don’t like the terminology, then let me use the word successful. Arkansas lost to Ohio State last year, but Alabama lost to South Carolina. LSU lost to Arkansas. That’s football. You win some; you lose some. LSU and Alabama are much bigger programs than Arkansas. It takes a lot better of a coach to come to Arkansas and produce the wins that Petrino has produced. Arkansas may not be the best, but they are better than most. I don’t know. Maybe “great” was the correct terminology. Let me compare his W/L record to some of the other coaches today.

Bobby Petrino, 8 years, 74-26 W-L, .740 (%), Bowl games .500

Les Miles, 11 years, 102-38 W-L, .729 (%), Bowl games .667

Nick Saban, 16 years, 140-54-1 W-L-T, .721 (%), Bowl games .500

Steve Spurrier, 22 years, 196-75-2 W-L-T, .722 (%), Bowl games .412

Petrino has to win something before he can even be considered a great coach? What has he won. All I know is he’s the only SEC coach to lose to Ohio State.

Leadin Louisville to a victory at Ladds Peoples Stadium in Mobile is not exactly ‘ Great Coach’ material.

It appears that Petrino is saying F*** You to someone, but that may not be what he said at all. It is anybody’s guess as to who he is talking to. Arkansas got beat fair and square. Just like Arkansas beat them last year. There will be a next year. Bobby Petrino is a great coach. So what if he cusses or doesn’t give Miles a longer handshake. Good luck LSU in the SECC and the NC, and if you play Alabama — beat the crap out of them this time.

Just read this post this morning and all I have to say is W.T.F. Arkansas ran the score up on State 44-17 trying to get style points like it would help their cause. LSU could have scored way more but choose to play safe. I can’t believe the hogs are crying over this, it’s football!! P.S. Arkansas never had a chance anyway only got this far on luck.

Win gates you are a typical hogs fan . If you where so smart you would notice he says f you you mother f-er. No one is whining about the win except you cry baby hogs. Revenge is a long time from now to considering LSU will be better next season so go buy some tissue you are gonna be crying for a while. I personally HATE Arkansas so to see Les make Bobby so mad that he cusses makes my day and Shows a true Arkansas civilians colors. And don’t try and get started on Arkansas winning the the past 3 out of 4 cuz LSU owns Arkansas.

Hey Patrino!! If you don’t like the score being run up on you don’t get behind. That’s the way it works big boy. Arkansas was over rated the game was hyped and he got mad because they got their Ass kicked. Suck it up and go back to Arkansas.
