Joker Phillips continues his raid on the talent in Georgia, when he landed his 7th verbal commitment from that state. Atlanta native, Marcus Caffey verbally committed to play football at Kentucky on Thursday. Caffey was committed to Purdue, but he is now headed to Lexington. Caffey is a 6’0” 191lb running back, and he has the speed to be an elite back in the SEC. He could potentially split out at wide receiver, or Caffey could add weight to be used as a power back. Look for him to be an immediate help to the Wildcats offense, especially with Randall Cobb going pro.
