NFL.com produced the top 30 prospects in college football for 2013, and seven made the list from the SEC:
No. 2 Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina
No. 4 Jarvis Jones, LB, Georgia
No. 10 Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
No. 12 Johnathan Banks, DB, Miss State
No. 15 Tyrann Mathieu, DB, LSU
No. 17 Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
No. 27 Christine Michael, RB, Texas A&M
The top overall projection was, of course, USC’s QB Matt Barkley, but Lattimore is right behind him at No. 2.
I’m sure a player no one is talking about right now will jump out of nowhere and onto the big board…i.e. Ryan Tannehill. Knile Davis comes to mind very quickly as well.

Where’s SC DE Devin Taylor?
Obviously he’s not on the list.
Ryan Swope
I love Ryan Swope, but he likely won’t be a first rounder…only because of the measurables.
Yeah Tyler Bray predicted to go 4 in the draft and Hunter at 18 at some draft analysis. Da’Rick first round too.
since you will probably be writing about Banks a number of times this year, i figured i’d let you know.
his name is actually Johnthan, not John-A-than
but i did see this and also see in the sister article that he is listed as the #3 CB behind Amerson at NC State and Matthieu who i think will get exposed some this year.
Banks could get to the head of the class if he can get his 40 down some. Thats the only thing holding him back with the scouts despite his obvious ability and skill set
Da’Rick will be in the supplemental NFL draft after he gets kicked off the team….
