It’s never too early to be looking ahead to the 2014 season, right? That’s two years from now; however, yesterday, it became official that Alabama will in fact play West Virginia in the Chick-fil-A Bowl to open up the ’14 season. You will have the game’s best defensive mind in Nick Saban going up against one of the best offensive minds in the country in Dana Holgorsen.
Alabama is not afraid to play anyone at any given time. Saban has brass balls the size that you saw on the back of that Mack truck yesterday. And he’s also from the state of West Virginia.
Bama faced Clemson in the 2008 Chick-fil-A Game, and Bama waxed them 34-10. A year later, the Tide took care of business 34-24 against Virginia Tech. The two ACC foes were outmatched in both affairs. VT will try their luck again next year in ’13 with a shot at Alabama in the Georgia Dome once more.
This year, Alabama is opening with Michigan in Dallas at JerryWorld.
This (WVU-Bama) will be a fun one to look forward to, but let’s just get through 2012 first, shall we?

Good game. West Virginia may still wind up in the SEC before long.
