  1. Florida State, TCU, Texas, Oklahoma are the most overrated.

Kansas State, Missouri, Louisville not getting the respect they deserve. That’s why the games are played

    C’mon CFB

  2. The preseason Top 25
Every year we wait for it, and every year someone gets pissed because their team isn’t as high as they think they should be, or someone gets pissed because some other school is ranked “too high”. I believe that polls shouldn’t come out until after the first few weeks are played, but that won’t stop people from making predictions. And they shouldn’t stop either. That’s what they get paid to do.
However, it has never been, in my short lifetime, a better time to be a Hog fan! 3 straight winning seasons, a Top 5 finish, a BCS Berth. Success can only bring more success in the years to come! It just so happens that the upward swing of the Hogs also comes at the time when LSU and Alabama are tops in the league and nation, and other teams are on teh rise.

  3. Stanford, K State and Arkansas, and Louisville are underrated here.

Florida, TCU, S. Carolina, Ohio State, Florida State, are overrated.

and “Other receiving votes: Auburn, Notre Dame, Baylor, and North Carolina.”

    HAHAH WHAT?

Auburn? Maybe. ND? They don’t even know who their QB will be. What a joke. Baylor without RG3? Who are they voting for? and North Carolina? Nope. I don’t think they will be bad, but they shouldn’t be getting top 25 votes.

  4. Every pre-season poll is based upon :

    (1) Where the team ended the previous season

    (2) Who they play in the up-coming season

Georgia Bulldogs, who finished the 2011-2012 season as the # 5 team in The SEC in every poll, in the off-season can measure up the 11 “opponents” we play this up-coming season as 11 teams who average 4.8 wins and 1 opponent who made any top 25 poll, and find that we are consensus now pre-season # 6 in the nation because of our favorable schedule of 1 game against The 5 SEC teams ranked in the Top 11 in the nation pre-season.

Ultimately, the season will be measured as a season that either does or does not, end these current streaks :

    (1) not beat any of 9 SEC teams who put-up a winning SEC record starting with our Kentucky game way back in 2007

    (2) not beat any of 9 teams from any conference who made any top 25 poll

    (3) not beat any of 7 teams who achieved Top 10 after beating # 9 Auburn way back in 2006
