The Big 10 trying to catch up to the SEC. That’s always the story.
Last year, the Mississippi State Bulldogs were the first team to paint a hash tag in their end zone to promote a game night; it was a brilliant idea, too.
This was last November:

Now, Michigan is following suit at the Big House for the spring game:

Maybe they’re hoping Mississippi State will stop scoring on them in the 2011 Gator Bowl, because State hung 52 on them, and I think they’re lining up to go for two. Man, that was a beat-down.

I will carry the memory of the 2011 Gator Bowl with me to my grave, cocky pregame wolverines taunting us and asking for more cowbell, and they sure as hell got more than they wanted as Dear ‘Ol State steam rolled them. MSU sadly is still a bottom tier SEC team, but non-conference teams can’t handle anything from the SEC. Someday they’ll learn no matter what you wear or paint on your field you won’t beat the SEC. Football everywhere else is just a game, for us it life. SEC Pride, SEC Power. Oh, and in case anyone forgot, we had an all SEC National Title game this year, it still makes me smile to think of it. Hail SEC! Hail State! Go Dawgs! Go To Hell The School Up North!
