We’re in the middle of the dog days of summer, and the Honey Badger and AJ McCarron are deep into Twitter trash talking about the upcoming season.
Alabama-LSU might be scheduled for November 3rd, but one would think it was tomorrow with Tyrann Mathieu and AJ McCarron sounding off.
Mathieu started the jousting by saying the following:
try throwing a corner route or a cross country on me this year!!! i’ll be waiting!!!

Then McCarron started chiming in and fired back:
U can talk ab stopping something.. But actions speak louder than words. Remember that. #neworleans #14

McCarron then got teammate WR Kenny Bell into the mix, who happens to wear No. 7 for the Tide:

Mathieu fired right back, and his comment has since been deleted from his Twitter account:
Mathieu: “@10AJMcCarron you have 1,THE school has 14! you play your part well thanks to great coaching! but anyways we’ll talk nov 3rd!”
McCarron: “@TM7_Era Ur right the TEAM.. That’s how we play as a TEAM.. We stick together through our losses and wins. #thatswhatmakesusgreat #wehave14″
The Honey Badger is an overall outstanding player and playmaker, but he was beaten several times during last year in both the championship game and the regular season.
Who says LSU needs a rival in the West? Great programs are great rivals.
What I really want to see is a Les Miles-Nick Saban argument via Twitter. That’s where it’s at.
Is it November yet?
