NEW: Discuss this topic in the Google+ community for SEC fans.
SDS is the home of SEC football fans. We love SEC football and each of the fans in this great conference – all shapes, colors, and sizes of them. We have the most passionate fans in all of sports and each of us chooses to express it in different ways.
While Jon Cooper and Kevin Duffey produce actual football analysis with our other writers, I personally enjoy following what makes the SEC so unique: our passionate fans. So, I announced that I would be on the lookout for fans each week that meet the criteria for the Inappropriate SEC Fan Award. I don’t really like the word “inappropriate” because “diehard” or “extreme” or even “unusual” would fit it better, but that’s what I called it.
After seeing tweets from @GeauxTigers and @SthrnPride1865, I stopped the nominations for this first week of the season and declared an early winner. We have received a lot of tweets in response to my recent posts on SEC related tattoos:
- Top 25 tattoos in the SEC
- Large Alabama & Arkansas Back Tattoos
- Lee Ziemba’s Auburn Tattoo
- Bold tattoos for SEC Teams
But this one wins. They may be tattoos or it may just be markers, I don’t know. Regardless, here is the score after week one in this very prestigious award:
Alabama Fans – 1
Rest of the SEC – 0

Notice Auburn fans don’t do things like this? That is because we have class…morons : ) hahahahahah WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
