Blonde Bombshell Found To Be Riding With Petrino When Motorcycle Crashed

NEW: Discuss this topic in the Google+ community for SEC fans.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get even crazier in the SEC, we hear of this blonde bombshell found to be riding on the back of the motorcycle that Bobby Petrino wrecked.

Recently, both Bobby Petrino and the University of Arkansas claimed that Petrino was alone when he wrecked his motorcycle. That, in fact, has found to be false. So, someone lied.

The girl on the back of the cycle turned out to be 25 year-old Jessica Dorrell, a former All-SEC volleyball player for the Hogs. Dorrell holds a job with the Razorback Foundation as an Assistant Director.

Petrino did mention there was “a lady there” who flagged down the car”. That “lady” turned out to be on his Harley Davidson.

Petrino is, of course, married to Becky Petrino. And I’m not so sure she took this too well.

Both Petrino and Dorrell left the scene of the crash together by a third party to where her car was parked nearby at a local intersection before Petrino was then sent to the hospital:

POST CRASH ACTIVITIES: OPERATOR PETRINO (V-1) AND PASSENGER DORRELL WERE NOT PRESENT AT THE ACCIDENT SCENE WHEN I ARRIVED. EMS WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. OPERATOR PETRINO (V-1) AND PASSENGER DORRELL WERE TRANSPORTED FROM THE COLLISION SCENE TO THE INTERSECTION OF EAST HUNTSVILLE ROAD AND CROSSOVER ROAD IN FAYETTEVILLE … UPON ARRIVAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF EAST HUNTSVILLE ROAD AND CROSSOVER ROAD IN FAYETTEVILLE, PASSENGER DORRELL DEPARTED IN HER PERSONEL VEHICLE. OPERATOR OF (V-1) PETRINO WAS TRANSPORTED TO PHYSICIAN SPECIALTY HOSPITAL BY ASP CAPTAIN
LANCE KING IN HIS ASP VEHICLE.

The biggest thing you do not do in today’s world is lie to the media or lie to your boss. I find it hard to believe the university would let Petrino have a press conference knowing there was more to the story. I have a gut feeling they did not know anything about the second passenger. Who knows what really happened, but it will come out eventually.

I’m not one who is quick to judge and I usually give the benefit of a doubt to anyone explaining their innocence, and I just hope there is no infidelity involved in this situation.

Arkansas has called a late night press conference by the athletic department to address the situation tonight at 10:45 PM ET.

  1. Dammit to hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. As “long” as he keeps winning – I don’t care how many women he has on the side

  3. Leave Coach Petrino alone.

  4. “As “long” as he keeps winning – I don’t care how many women he has on the side” … that comment just plain stinks. I’m not a moralist by any stretch of the imagination, but to keep Patrino now would be a real hit in the face for the Ark. football program. Patrino is a weasle … always has been … and always will be. When he came to Arkansas, it was only a matter of time until the real Partino came to light. Winning does not justify his actions. Hiring her in the department was the straw that did it for me. His personal life is his, but this is an NCAA violation. Don’t partonize a low life like Patrino! By the way, Houston Nutt is available Razorback fans!

  5. Hey howardgordon……..first of all, it’s Petrino, no patrino or partino or how ever else you might try to spell the man’s name. Second, we don’t care what non-Razorback fans think. Third, having a girlfriend on the side is not an NCAA violation, nor is hiring said girlfriend to work in your office. It’s really bad judgment, but it’s not a rules violation. Fourth, I think it sucks that you feel sin-free enough to pass judgment on someone else, sounds like you’re a moralist to me. Fifth, if Petrino is fired it will set this program back at least five years, and it’s not necessary to do that. Last, just because Petrino went to where the money was at doesn’t mean he is a weasel. I don’t blame him for going from job to job, if they were willing to pay him more money and get him some experience at the same time. He took Louisville from nothing and made them a national player. He has admitted that he made a mistake going to the Falcons and handled his exit badly. Auburn approached him with a potential job offer, not Petrino calling them. He had, and still could have, a real chance to do something great at Arkansas depending on how this whole ordeal sorts out. His buyout clause would keep him at Arkansas through 2017…if he isn’t fired. I say everyone should just back-off, let Jeff Long handle this, and let the chips fall where they may.
The main determining factor in whether Petrino keeps his job will be the Board of Trustees and the Boosters. If they’re outraged, he’s gone. If they’re willing to forgive him, he’ll stay.
