Yesterday was the first day JUCO players could sign their National Letter of Intent for the ’13 recruiting cycle. JUCO players are more times than not instant-impact players because they are physically more mature than a high school player, and sprinkling in a few here and there who are ready at a position of need can add both depth and impact to a roster. It was only three years ago that Cam Newton signed from JUCO, and I think we all know the instant impact he had.
