Ho-hum.
While you weren’t watching Kentucky on Saturday, Wildcats’ quarterback Max Smith put together an impressive game in the Cats’ first win of the season.
It says a lot about a team that has their backs against the wall to come out and punish…Kent State.
Okay, so, it was Kent State, but it was a big win for Joker Phillips and his club. And Max Smith is the main reason, too.
Smith finished 30 of 39 for 354 yards and four touchdowns. Have a day, kid.
14-yard TD
18-yard TD
11-yard TD
56-yard TD
Smith has developed a nice connection with Aaron Boyd. Boyd caught 11 passes for 100 yards and one TD.
Smith will lead Kentucky next week against Western Kentucky in Lexington.
