In early May, we got a very grainy photo of what the new Arkansas uniforms might look like from nikeblog.com.

Now, new photos have surfaced with better detail of the uniforms:

The black uniform has some serious style to it, and I’m sure the players would sport that on any given Saturday, except during the scorching September heat.
Some of you are yelling, “Give me my traditional unis!”, while others are enjoying the style and colors of the new unis. I hear all of you.
Not crazy about the fade up on the numbers on the black and red and the font is getting a little cheezy. Need to see them on a player with pants before I can say for sure but, I think they look pretty sweet. Fresh start post Bobby, new style. WPS!!!
Black isn’t one of their colors… Why are they doing black jerseys? You can’t just make up new colors to put in your school’s color scheme. Does anyone else think R-Kansas is a little off their rocker once again? Tennessee did the same thing a while ago and caught backlash from it.
Personally, I like the new unis. Companies have been making black Arkansas unis for years for sale in department stores. I think it’s about time that we have something of a new look. I think recruits will look at these and be a little more interested due to style. We’ll see what happens, only time will tell.
