In celebration of Missouri coming to the SEC, the Tigers are getting a new look. On April 14, Mizzou is releasing their new uniforms. Until then, they are going to tease everybody with this video of former Missouri Tiger and current Philadelphia Eagle wide receiver Jeremy Maclin:

Here are the glimpses of the new uniforms from the video. They remind me of the Oregon uniforms from the LSU game last season. Here are pictures of some of the other Nike uniforms last season.

  1. For those who don’t know the backstory, Nike did a survey which revealed the casual fan identifies the Tiger head logo with Mizzou more than the traditional Block M. I believe Missouri allowed the original copyright to expire back a long time ago and Michigan borrowed it. Now more fans associate the Block M with Michigan. Since Missouri is moving to a new conference and into a new territory, they decided to emphasize what fans identify with the school.
Missouri’s helmet hasn’t changed that much over the years – this will be, by far, the biggest change the helmet has ever had.

  2. Unis look good minus the helmets. The helmets seem gimmicky to me. I have no problem with flashy uniforms. Sometimes teams just take it to far.
