  • Thank you for noticing Alec Ogletree…know the 4 games he missed had to be the only reason he was left off the All Sec 1st team. There wasn’t a better defensive player on the field Saturday.

  • I still think Kevin Sumlin deserves the Coach of the Year, and Jarvis defensive player of the year.

  • I agree with this list for the most part. I feel like Cameron Lawrence deserves to be credited with a LB position on the All SEC team. 111 tackles (49 solo), 10 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, 2 interceptions, 4 broken up passes, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries. The boy has been getting it done on defense for State and is one of the reasons we haven’t lost more games this year than we already have. He is a certified BAMF. Also, I really think James Franklin or Hugh Freeze deserves coach of the year, not taking anything away from Muschamp, Sumlin, or Saban, but to win at a school that has sucked essentially forever or at least in recent history is amazing. I know it was a tough decision for every position and award since the SEC provides so many amazing candidates for each slot, but I think you did a pretty dang good job overall.
