Tennessee’s football season ticket sales were down a third straight year, and the budget is taking a hit. Derek Dooley heard this news right before the Orange and White Game a couple weeks ago. Dooley knows the pressures on the field are mounting, as well as the pressures off the field. He will be breaking in seven new assistant coaches, and there is no time to wait and let the players and coaches get comfortable with each other. Dooley’s time is this year, or it might not turn out like he had planned. The program is, however, better than when he received it, that’s for sure. [Tennessean]

Florida coach Will Muschamp said he’ll play two quarterbacks if necessary. If we remember correctly, this is the exact same thing Nick Saban said a year ago. After all, Muschamp is in Saban’s coaching tree. Jacoby Brissett and Jeff Driskel will both get their shot in games next season, and one of the two will indeed step up. [CBS Sports]

Florida LB Graham Stewart is transferring. Stewart played mostly on special teams last year, and he is said to be interested in transferring somewhere close to home. He originally committed to Boston College before changing his commitment to Florida. Stewart would have likely not had much playing time this year behind Jon Bostic and Michael Taylor. Eli Manning hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend. How did he do? I personally didn’t watch, but I’m not sure he can live up to the benchmark Peyton left a few years ago. Peyton was absolutely hilarious. Many have said the show was very good, but he looked slightly nervous. He probably feels more comfortable as the starting QB in the Super Bowl than on live TV. The Alabama man accused of committing sexual battery against an unconscious LSU fan is now being sued. This got a lot of post-national championship talk, and the LSU fan has finally filed a lawsuit against Brian Downing. Downing was booked on charges of sexual battery and obscenity but the New Orleans district attorney has until June 20th to decide whether or not he’ll prosecute. Downing is a sick man. [AL.com]
