  • Congrats TAMU! 7 in top 25, not to shabby.

  • I am a Georgia alumni and am very embarrassed by the way the Dawgs played last night. I’m not sure that after that performance (or lack thereof) that we should even be #14….I thought for sure that we would drop out of the top 20. Mercy sakes, we better figure it out pretty quick.

    • Actually, Linda, you are an alumna of Georgia, alumni is the plural masculine form of the word. Apparently you missed a grammar class or two while at UGA.

      • <.< Because your grammar and mastery of the English language is always perfect. We are here to talk sports, not write dissertations.

      • Congratulations, you managed to attend every Asshole class given at your college. You forgot to explain that it’s alumna/alumnus depending upon gender of the “alum”. Talk sports fool.

  • It will all get sorted out in December if Alabama and either SC or UF are undefeated and are playing in ATL…Winner of that game will probably play undefeated Oregon or WVU or ND. who would have thought ND would be mentioned.

  • How is LSU still in the Top 10? What has LSU done to continue to be ranked this high. They struggled against an Auburn team that just lost to winless Arkansas . They struggled against Towson State and now beaten by Florida. I am sorry, I understand the SEC is the best conference in football, but LSU does not deserve to be ranked this high.

    • It’s the nature of polls. Your preseason position is a huge part of where you sit in the polls throughout the year. However, it typically gets sorted out by the end of the year. For example, It doesn’t matter where Florida and South Carolina are in position to each other, because they play each other in 2 weeks.

      • UGA wins out we could still have a say in the East…..

        • Right now Georgias fate is in South Carolina and Florida’s hands.

        • Why would you even want to have a say in the East? At this point I have more respect for South Carolina then I ever have. They absolutely killed UGA last night and as much as I dislike saying this. Id rather see them give Alabama a fight then watch UGA throw away another big game. My opinion may change if we beat Florida convincingly but I dont believe in hoping for “fate” to determine who gets in the SECCG.

  • Based on the little I’ve seen Bama looks a tad bit mentally tougher than the Gamecocks. But I think the Gators could seriously threaten Bama with their matchups. Oregon belongs there somewhere in the top five along with Bama, the gamecocks, the mighty gators and (hate to say it) Notre Dame. Can’t see myself all in with K State yet and the Irish still have a long road before they are a serious NCG contender.

Georgia is good. But they’re West Virginia good. That should be of some concern to the great UG Nation. LSU despite their foolish ways always remains relevant. Don’t count them out. And watch out for my SEC team the Vols. Give Dooley time but keep him staying honest. I see great fight in that guy and he will raise that program to elite levels in 2 years. The SEC and the Pac 12 will dominate for a few years. The champs and the #1 contender(s). Should be wild beyond words.

  • If USC gets by LSU next week on the road, look out for that Florida-Carolina game. It’s setting up perfectly. We may have three one-loss East teams, depending on how it finishes. Also, the BCS comes out after next week, too. East is going to go down to the wire for an incredible finish.

  • If South Carolina gets past LSU they will have an unbelievable amount of momentum going into the Florida game.
