SEC Maxwell Award watch list

NEW: Discuss this topic in the Google+ community for SEC fans.

The Maxwell Award is given out each year to the most outstanding college football player, and the SEC had 13 players on the 65-player list:

RB Knile Davis, Arkansas
WR Cobi Hamilton, Arkansas
QB Tyler Wilson, Arkansas
RB Eddie Lacy, Alabama
QB AJ McCarron, Alabama
QB Tyler Bray, Tennessee
WR Da’Rick Rogers, Tennessee
RB Onterio McCalebb, Auburn
QB Aaron Murray, Georgia
QB James Franklin, Missouri
RB Marcus Lattimore, South Carolina
RB Christine Michael, Texas A&M
RB Zac Stacy, Vanderbilt

If I were a betting man, I would go with Knile Davis or Tyler Wilson for this award, and probably lean more toward Davis. He was dynamic in 2010, and everyone missed his playmaking ability last year.

  1. Aaron Murray throws 403 passes again this season and completes 238 of them for # 72 in the nation as he just did 2011, and you can forget him being one of the 13 in The SEC and you say audios to Mike Bobo with the veritable plethora of running backs and whatever the excuse is for our OL this season such as the fewest starts of any team in America. We all know Aaron Murray will stay in against Louisiana Lafayette until he throws 5 touchdown passes and no back-up will be developed. What am I supposed to be so happy about currently ?
