The Pro Bowl sucks. We all know that. It’s nothing more than a flag football game with guys who hope they don’t tear their ACLs. But the selection is intriguing because it’s the best of the best in the NFL, and the SEC once again is on top for having the most players in the 2013 Pro Bowl game. Surprise, surprise.
The SEC accounted for 20 players on the ’13 roster, from a total of 84 total players. The ACC had 16, followed by Big 12 (11), the Pac-12 (10), the Big Ten (8) and CUSA (4).
Regarding former SEC players, Tennessee led the way with six players on the roster, followed closely by Georgia’s five.
