Week seven has now come and gone, and with week eight comes a clearer picture as to how this thing will pan out…or not really. Florida and Alabama remain undefeated, with upcoming games looming that will decide their fate.
BCS National Championship Game: Alabama
All-State Sugar Bowl: Florida
Capital One Bowl: South Carolina
Outback Bowl: Georgia
AT&T Cotton Bowl: LSU
Chick-fil-A Bowl: Texas A&M
Gator Bowl: Mississippi State
Music City Bowl: Tennessee
Liberty Bowl: Ole Miss
BBVA Compass Bowl: Arkansas
Independence Bowl: Vanderbilt
Florida remains the only unbeaten team in the SEC East, thus thrusting them into the Sugar Bowl projection right now. This is far from over, but the Gators have a very good running game and solid defense to make a serious run at an undefeated season. We’re going to find out this weekend when South Carolina comes to town.
LSU-Texas A&M is going to take place Saturday, too, and we’ll know more if TAMU will really compete for a West Division Championship after hosting the Tigers.
