The 117 year tradition between the Aggies and Longhorns has ended on the football field this season. The game was traditionally played on Thanksgiving Day.
In the BCS Rankings, Texas A&M is #16 and Texas is #23 this week. According to KXAN, some Aggies had a little fun this weekend and left a mark on the Texas campus:
Spray paint could mostly be found around the Tower and the Flawn Academic Center. The Jefferson Davis and Woodrow Wilson statues were also targeted.
“Howdy,” “gig ‘em,” “farmer’s fight” and “SEC” are just some of the phrases littered around campus. Likely in reference to the Aggies leaving the Big 12 this year, “Do you miss us yet?” was also spray painted in red.
The UT Police Department is looking into the graffiti and at this time there have been no arrests.

No Aggie would say “go Aggies”. Ever.
