Florida struggled and almost lost at home today against Louisiana-Lafayette. It took a late touchdown followed by a crazy blocked punt scoop-and-score to avoid an embarrassing loss. The Gators are now 9-1.

The Gators – despite a near miracle finish – have definitely regressed in recent weeks from mid-season form. Driskel hasn’t improved at the quarterback position, and Brissett might see some playing time next week against Jacksonville State. Florida needs to find some offensive rhythm before heading to Tallahassee to take on the Seminoles.
You can’t complain too much with a 9-1 record. But, it’s a strange 9-1.
