Before football season gets started, let’s introduce you to the women behind each of the coaches in the SEC. Here’s the link to meet the wives of the SEC West Coaches.
Below is a brief introduction to each of the wives in in the SEC East. If you’re interested, here’s our 2011 article with wives of the SEC East Coaches. As the saying goes, “behind every good man is a good woman.” James Franklin would even take that a little further…
Florida – Carol Muschamp
And getting the East started off with a bang is Mrs. Carol Muschamp. She could be mistaken for a Florida student – so, I’m sure Willy has one eye on the playbook and one hand on a stick beating the students wearing jorts off of her.
Georgia – Katharyn Richt
Katharyn Richt is one of the most visible women around the Georgia program, and she probably has the biggest heart. Conservative and classy are words that come to mind. If you haven’t checked out the Richt’s story on adoption, you need to.
Kentucky – Leslie Phillips
Checking in next is Leslie Phillips, who looks physically fit enough to be a triathlon participant. Does she have any eligibility left ole Joker and the Wildcats could use?
Mizzou – Vicki Pinkel
According to ESPN, Gary Pinkel went through a separation this spring. He was married to Vicki for 40 years, and she is still listed as his wife in the media guide. Either way, we welcome any and all coaches, wives or ex-wives who pick their nose. Don’t take it personal, we always give the newbies a tough time. Welcome to the SEC, Mizzou!
South Carolina – Jerri Spurrier
The seasoned veteran of the East wives’ club is Jerri Spurrier, and she makes Steve go shirtless at home with a Coors heavy in his hand. It makes her feel young again.
Tennessee – Allison Dooley
Allison Dooley is the smartest of the East wives and is an OB/GYN doctor. When Derek comes home from babysitting Tyler Bray all day, they work on proper showering techniques to instruct his players.
Vanderbilt – Fumi Franklin
It’s a good thing Fumi Franklin is beautiful, or Vanderbilt might not have hired James Franklin. The kids look real thrilled to be in Nashville, James.
Aaaan Kathryn Richt is STILL the hottest. First Lady of the SEC East! Woooo!!

After seeing Fumi Franklin, I don’t think James Franklin would hire himself.

Have to disagree. I was shocked to see this pic of Franklin’s wife. I expected a knockout. She’s barely average, if that.
