In case you were under a rock yesterday, Deadspin broke the news that the story about Manti Te’o and his girlfriend that died during the season was a hoax. The internet then exploded with jokes about the Heisman finalist’s fake girlfriend. Not only was he embarrassed by Alabama in the National Championship, but every SEC fan with a twitter account continued the humiliation. Here are some of the best comments:

I’ll say this about it…Notre Dame bought into Te’o being the victim hook, line and sinker. So, the Notre Dame AD is “all in” on this deal, just so everyone knows. Nothing about this story makes sense at all. It’s not comprehensible.
