We knew it would only be a matter of time before we heard both Eddie Lacy and Dee Milliner would declare for April’s NFL Draft, especially after offensive tackle DJ Fluker declared yesterday.
CBSSports.com is reporting that Lacy and Milliner will forgo their senior seasons in Tuscaloosa and jump to the league.
Lacy and Milliner both had a massive hand in helping Bama win their third national championship in four years Monday night.
Lacy throttled Notre Dame for 20 carries for 140 yards and two total touchdowns. He totaled 204 carries for 1,322 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2012 sharing time with freshman standout TJ Yeldon. Lacy will remind you of Jamal Lewis the way he violently attacks would-be tacklers with his quick feet and physical body.
Milliner asserted himself as the #1 cover-corner in college football from the opening game against Michigan. He was matched up against arguably the best tight end in the country in Notre Dame’s 6-5 Tyler Eifert on Monday, and he more than showed up for the task.
