CBSSports.com is reporting that Georgia outside linebacker Jarvis Jones will enter the NFL Draft.
The dreadlock rushing monster Jones is said to be a top-five pick, and some experts have him as their top overall prospect on the board.
Jones has been a staple on Georgia’s defense and has led the SEC the last two years, racking up a combined 28 sacks and 44 tackles for loss. Those aren’t just gaudy numbers; those are stupid numbers.
Jones saved his best against Florida the last two years with 19 total tackles, seven sacks and three forced fumbles, leaving nightmares in Jeff Driskel, Jordan Reed and the entire Gator Nation’s minds at night.
He will be missed in the SEC on Saturdays, but it will be fun watching him come off the edge in the NFL.
