Ole Miss could have one of the best recruiting finishes in the country. And it could start today with five-star wide receiver Laquon Treadwell.
Treadwell is largely regarded as the top wide receiver in the country from Crete, Illinois. He’ll decide today between Ole Miss, Michigan, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma, but it looks like Ole Miss is the likeliest destination for the future star. Could you imagine Treadwell lining up next to Donte Moncrief?
Treadwell was largely considered a longtime Michigan lean, but when SEC country comes calling, you listen.
Ole Miss’ recruiting class is currently ranked 21st in the country, according to 247Sports’ Composite Team Rankings.
Along with Treadwell, Ole Miss could finish with the top overall prospect in the country in defensive end Robert Nkemdiche.
If that’s not enough, the Rebels could also land arguably the top safety in the country in Tony Connor, the top offensive tackle in Laremy Tunsil – although Tunsil is probably headed to Georgia – and another stud defensive end Elijah Daniel.
Bottom line is that Hugh Freeze is making noise on the recruiting trail, and the pre-Freeze 2-10 era is like it never even happened.
