Miss State’s Ricco Sanders gone, Chris Hughes suspended indefinitely

Mississippi State will be without WR Ricco Sanders in 2013. Sanders will not return to the team, according to the Clarion Ledger.

Sanders started just two games in his two-year career, and he made 15 catches for 163 yards and a touchdown in 2012. MSU loses three starters at receiver due to graduation, and the loss of Sanders isn’t too comforting. He would not have been a starter, but State needs some depth at the position.

Linebacker Chris Hughes has been suspended indefinitely from the team. Hughes has seen action in 16 games over the last two years, including making 14 tackles.

This marks Hughes’ third suspension of his short career.
