The anticipation is mounting for EA Sports’ NCAA 2014, and Tradition Sports has already released the top 15 players and all team ratings.

Now, it’s on to college football’s most hyped position: Quarterbacks.

Johnny Manziel is the top-rated quarterback, followed by Alabama’s AJ McCarron. Impressively, South Carolina backup Dylan Thompson is ranked No. 25. What’s the trade value for Steve Spurrier on a player like Thompson? The Gamecocks sure could use some help at linebacker.

Here are the rankings, with SEC players in bold:

3. 96 – Braxton Miller, Ohio State
4. 96 – Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville

Yea I think Russell and Bo Wallace are both better than the last 4 SEC QBs on this list

      • I agree. I would have the two at #4 & 5 (any order really) behind Manziel, McCarron, & Murray, but ahead of Driskel, Shaw, Mettenberger, and Thompson. Not sure how Driskel is on this?
