Preseason changes: Mississippi State out; Arkansas in

Few thoughts:

  • Kentucky, Tennessee and, now, MSU are out.
  • Tennessee’s uphill battle starts even this weekend against WKU before traveling to Oregon and Florida.
  • Arkansas showed it’s a new era in Fayetteville, as evidenced by a hard-nosed running game and aggressive D-line play.

  • No love for TN, yet mizzou, auburn , and vandy make the list??? TN wins 8 this year….write it down

    • Not yet, the true test will come against Florida. It’s mostly due to the ensuing brutal schedule right now.

      • That’s understandable. I think Tennessee steals one from Florida, UGA, or USC. Then we win South Alabama, Mizzou, Vandy, Kentucky, and Auburn. A bowl win could be a 9 win season which would be RIDICULOUS considering the hand Butch Jones was dealt. However, the world always looks better through Orange Tinted Glasses. My fandom clouds my judgement but dagnabit I just can’t concede any losses for the Big Orange. GO VOLS!

  • Alabama looks a little flat. You don’t see them losing more than one?
